Mistwood is a contemporary classical project crafted from a Brooklyn basement that blends cinematic grandeur with intimate, emotive storytelling. Combining lush string arrangements, nostalgic guitar and piano melodies, and ethereal soundscapes, Mistwood feels both timeless and deeply personal. Inspired in equal parts by the film scores and works of neoclassical composers like Ólafur Arnalds, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Max Richter as well as indie artists like Bon Iver and Sigur Ros, the project bridges the gap between classical elegance and contemporary experimentation.
