ANR

ANR is the creative partnership of Portland-based producer-songwriter Aaron Abernathy and producer Nick Bernyk, anchored by the voice and pen of singer-songwriter Rachel Wong. Built out of Bunker Creative's studio sessions, the trio brings a deep reverence for classic soul and funk with a modern sonic sensibility that sits comfortably between timeless and current. Aaron and Nick handle production together, crafting warm, groove-forward instrumentals that give Rachel's toplines room to breathe and land. The result is music that feels lived-in from the first listen. ANR's listener is musically literate and emotionally driven. They know who D'Angelo is but have SZA on repeat.
