Bouquet

Bouquet is a kaleidoscopic pop duo from Los Angeles composed of Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs and Max Foreman. The two create an inviting, immersive sound, intoning delicate vocal harmonies to a rising, ghost-like mass of guitar, trembling synthesizer, and early rhythm machines. Bouquet’s music echoes undefinable post-punk wonders Young Marble Giants and This Mortal Coil, synth heroes such as Cluster and Suicide, and the dulcet sensibilities of Sibylle Baier and Sandy Denny.
