Rich Hunter

Native Oregonian Rich Hunter is a veteran of the Portland music community. After a decade under the hip hop moniker Risky Star, Hunter's newest batch of musings is pointed in a decidedly neo-soul direction. Breezy electric piano and extended instrumental grooves give a breadth not felt in his previous outings. If there were any question about bringing the flow, Hunter puts those doubts to bed with “I’m a Man” -- mature and circumspect, the gravity of the tune is compounded by appearances from Portland legends Madgesdiq and Libretto. Marmoset is excited to be welcome Rich Hunter to our roster.
