When you upload a video to YouTube that contains copyrighted content (like music) you run the risk of getting a ContentID claim. This occurs when the music in your video matches that in a database and can prevent you from monetizing your video. Getting a ContentID claim does not impact the status of your YouTube channel. However, if you want to monetize your video or block ads from running on it, you cannot have a claim present.

Track Club provides an easy solution to prevent ContentID claims by allowing you to enter your YouTube Channel ID in your account. If you create work for clients, you can generate a code called a TrackID code on your Track Club profile and paste it in your video's description or tags. This will ensure that any claims are resolved within one hour of uploading.
